David Trout & Brian Blake have been planning a to visit Manchester The aim of the day is to give the opportunity for Urban Landscape and Street Photography at Salford Quays and City Centre. We suggest meeting at “Cuppa Coffee”, a cafe in the Lowry Outlet Centre, at 09:30 on 1st September. The journey by car will take around 2h 30m. There are a number of bookable car parks in the area.
We’re planning to be in the area until about 13:00, after which we’ll be heading to Manchester city centre by tram to Manchester Piccadilly (£3.20 off-peak return). There are vibrant street performances around the city centre.
Of course, feel free to do your ‘own thing’ on the day. Just make sure you know how you’re getting home.
There’s an event created in DPS Facebook page to register your attendance / interest. This will also allow you to see who else is attending, or interested. This should help you making your own arrangements for travel. If you’re not on Facebook, please email Brian at brian_blake(at)btinternet.com for the latest list of attending & interested people.
