Now that we are heading at full speed towards summer our next assignment will be on Saturday the 19th of May at the North East Land Sea and Air Museum at Sunderland.
This used to be the air museum and is situated just off the A19 beside Nissan. Its been a good while since we were there and it should be a cracking day.
We will meet in the car park at 10am. normal entrance fees apply, £5 or £3 for concessions but we will be given free passes to access the Vulcan and Trident. as well as gaining access to some areas that the public normally can’t get to.
There is a small coffee place, picnics are welcome and there’s a good Italian, the 3 Horse Shoes that does snacks and food (and beer) beside the museum.
