Club Night News: 8th March 2018

Dave Murrell & Ian Stafford : Between 64 and 69 degrees

It was a great night that lived up to its billing – and to what looked like a record, packed audience that included some very welcome guests – such is the popularity of these guys

We were treated to a showing of the lads’ adventures in Iceland and Norway (Dave, Ian, Jed & Jed’s mate Glyn) that were like episodes of Top Gear! Absolutely superb photography of the incredible landscapes, night sky auroras, architecture, details and of the lads doing their thing – not forgetting cute Icelandic ponies with character

Uniquely, the images from each photographer were organised together in time order from the exif data along and it was accompanied by one of the very best, relaxed, concise commentaries from a duo we’ve ever experienced

In between there was a showing of time lapse sequences from Dave – by common consent the best, most extraordinary we’ve ever seen

To cap it all there were beautiful photography books by the guys from the trips on display that, too, were inspirational

Glean some of Dave’s expertise on the next Digital Night (see below)

If you want to know anything about any equipment (extreme weather gear, photographic, anything) remember the phrase that comes to mind for many … “Ask Ian”
