Club Night Preview: 18th January 2018 – note Road Closure!

The London Salon of Photography Annual Exhibition 2017:

One of the most prestigious Internationals worldwide, the London Salon has the following aim:

The aim of the London Salon is to exhibit only that class of photographic work

in which there is distinct evidence of artistic feeling and execution’

To be a Member of the London Salon is a high honour and by invitation only. Many Members have lectured at Durham PS over the years. Have a look at the London Salon website to learn more here

Two members of Durham Photographic Society have had acceptances into the Exhibition – Joe Grabham EFIAP/s had 2 in 2014 and John Clarke ARPS had, as best he can remember, 3 or 4 some 20 years before

The evening will be a joy for sure

Note: There will be road works on Church St, Durham City until 22nd January between St Oswalds Church entrance and Dunelm House Students Union. Vehicular access to St Oswalds church hall will be still available from the New Inn junction. DPS will be open as usual from around 6.30
