Club Night News: 11th January 2018

Malcolm Blenkey ARPS: Northern Landscapes my Favourite Seasons

Malcolm is a member of Saltburn PS and lives in a village just outside. Well placed to enjoy nearby N Yorks, Dales and Lakes landscapes all year round. He reminded us how lucky we are to live in the North East. He showed us an amazing collection of beautiful landscapes and gave an insightful commentary that included invaluable technique and location advice fully appreciated by the packed audience. After this, sales of polarising filters, two stoppers, 24-105mm lenses and alarm clocks will rocket. We’ll see a lot more half and 1 second at f16 exposures, leading lines and back lit close ups

It will be unsurprising to be at Buttercup Meadows, bluebell woods near Roseberry Topping, Bowlees Beck, High Force or even the Trossachs and bump into fellow members!

Altogether an enjoyable and inspiring evening topped off with an exceptional, transformative AV. Malcolm is the judge of 2nd Progress PDI competitions in June and it will be good to see him again so soon
