Judges: A section Michael Vasey Stockton CC

B section Michael Watson Durham PS

Michael Vasey is fairly new on the NCPF circuit; in fact his first gig was two and a half years ago at Durham so a fresh talent and once again he did a great job for us. His observations were interesting and well thought through and expressed the importance and impact of emotions and storytelling in photographs

It was Michael Watson’s second outing as a judge and his commentary was very positive and appreciative, giving well deserved glowing praise to the less experienced B section photographers who showed some superb work that impressed all present

Results to follow …

Michael Vasey started his judging career by attending an NCPF Judges Seminar – open to all, see below for information on the next one in February 2018

DPS Website Watch: Michael Vasey mentioned Ken Holland’s book “A Personal View of Appraising and Judging Photographs” – a link to it is in “Article and Book on Judging” (on the Competitions page) here
