Assignment Barford Raceway

Next Assignment is to Barford Raceway Sunday 30th April meeting at 12.00/12.30 with the first race at 1.00 pm. All members welcome. See Assignments News here

Digi Nights

The May Digi Night has had to be cancelled. The next meeting will be Wednesday 7th June 6.30 pm County Hall all members welcome. Details to follow

DPS Botanic Garden Exhibition

Set up is Monday 1st May, 9.30 a.m. Volunteers needed for a very enjoyable experience (Don Bennett is organising). Posters are available for members to distribute locally. The exhibition is on for the month of May. More about the Durham University Botanic Garden is here

DPS UHND Exhibition

Our permanent display on the 1st floor near ENT at the University Hospital of North Durham is due for a changeover at the beginning of June. Barry Armitage is the founder and organiser. Contact him for more information and if you would like to show prints. The show will be enjoyed by patients, visitors and staff alike

DPS Annual Exhibition

It will be on in the glorious setting of the North Aisle of Durham Cathedral for the month of August, will feature around 100 prints by DPS members and be enjoyed by thousands of visitors from all over the world. The cathedral was recently voted National Heritage Site of the Year by BBC Countryfile magazine ( link ). NB It will be an exhibition on the theme of “Treasures of the North”. NCPF Beamish Weekend

20th to 21st May, will include a selling exhibition of NCPF members’ prints. More information is on the Notice Board and on the NCPF website here and Beamish website here

AV Show Night

27th July – open to all members to show their Audio Visual slide shows. Aim for 3 to 5 minutes. David Forster is organising and can advise

Note: the meetings on 4th May and 8th June will be at County Hall at the earlier start time of 7.00 pm and 6.30 pm respectively due to St Oswalds being a polling station on those nights
