About us

Welcome to the website of Durham Photographic Society. We hope you enjoy exploring the site. For news, fast-track to the NewsBlog page and there is a useful search facility to the right

Durham Photographic Society was founded in 1892, originally as Durham City Camera Club, and has run continuously in its present form as Durham Photographic Society since the club was re-formed  in 1947 after a break in WW2. We are a member of the Northern Counties Photographic Federation and a registered charity.
